Harvest of the Month
Offering a Harvest of the Month program at your school is easy with help from the Iowa Hub to Hub Network.
Food hubs assist local and regional farmers - especially small and mid-sized farmers - by marketing local products, brokering volume sales, coordinating distribution logistics, and helping producers meet industry requirements in areas such as food safety and packaging.
Four food hubs in Iowa specialize in Farm to School and Institution. Contact the hub in your area for help in starting a Harvest of the Month program at your school.
Participating food hubs:
Camp Creek Organic Produce, Kalona
